006/365 #6kktrippin

#6kktrippin with Joe Min, Ethel, Chris, Raegan and Lucdx for 4D3N!!!
(6kk = bkk where we replaced the B of Bangkok with 6 because there's 6 of us hwah HAHAHA)

Up early at 4.30am to be at the airport by 5.15am to catch our 7.15am flight!! We flew there by Tiger and came back via Scoot cuz it was the cheapest combination for the time period we went as what Lucas told me (tickets were a surprise gift from the cheeky boy :-))

Morning faces + excitement

YAY LANDED the Q at immigration was insane but holllaaaaaa THE WEATHER WAS 22 DEG SHIOK

Got our sim card at 299 baht (it's directly at gate 5 either AIS or DTAC it's both the similar) where we'll get unlimited 3G for 7 days!

Headed off to Platinum and we took the MRT from airport to sukhumvit (Suvarnabhumi -> Phaya Thai then alight and switch to BTS to Nana) it was much faster and cheaper than taking a cab from the airport because 1) bangkok's traffic is crazy 2) cab fare from airport isn't cheapp

Shopped a little (by little we meant only 1 level) and left to Asiatique to walk around and have dinner there!!!

En route to Asiatique on a ferry from Saphan Taksin BTS station

Us being all touristy HAHAHA esp when we just bought selfie sticks from a makeshift pushcart just right outside Platinum for $4 (100 baht)

(Happy belated??? 10th hehehe x)

Focus is on the poster on the right ^_^

Settled at this place for dinner!!! Which the egg was good HAHA ok the rest found everything nice but I only ate the omelette cuz I'm really picky when it comes to food and I don't eat spicy food (yes I know a fail half thai..)

But do give this stall a visit when you're over at Asiatique!!! Pretty affordable amongst the other restaurants here :-)

AND THEN JENG JENG JENG JENG we had Mango Tango right here at Asiatique too kekeke :-)) IT WAS SO SO GOOD.

And yup then ferry back to BTS again before heading back home to our villa!

We had three rooms basically - the red room, purple room and blue room as we call in HAHA.

Chatuchak the next day!! (Nearest BTS: Mo Chit / Nearest MRT: Chatuchak Park)

Breakfast at the chilling area at our place when we woke up!!! Had bread and jam which was alrdy bought and all we had to do was to toast the bread!! Before heading to Chatuchak

The mochi ice cream were the bombbbbb pls pls pls go and try it!! Can't remember the exact location but it's a pushcart store!!! 25 baht for 1 but it's buy 8 and you'll get 1 free!

Then left to Union Mall (it's really near Chatuchak! Take the MRT down to Phahon Yothin station) to shop a little more (got a Craftholic bear hehe makeshift boyfriend when the real bae goes into army in a month's time) and met my aunt after a year!! :-)

Boat noodles which was at level 4 of Union Mall!! It was 12 baht/bowl and we had 32 bowls in total HAHAHA it was damn spicy......... But the ham and cheese spring roll was just amazing *melts*

And yup... then we walked over from Union Mall to Central Ladprao (opposite! connected via overhead pass) to eat After You!!!!! Faking good please don't miss this. The Mille Crepe and Shibuya Honey Toast is TO.DIE.FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's located at level 1 of Central World Ladprao, just right in front of Uniqlo :-)

Day 3

Happy boy with his new specs because things in BKK are way cheaper

Balcony that is accessible by all 3 rooms just right outside our rooms!!!!

Off to Roast!!! WHICH WE Q-ed FOR AN HOUR because SUNDAY

Best would be to take a cab in because the nearest BTS station although named Thong Lo it isn't exactly near.... So yes address: Seenspace Center, Thong Lo soi 13

Smoked salmon rosti

Goat cheese frittata

Seafood pasta

Pulled pork beef burger

YUMS

Took the tuk tuk to..... Patpong night market because it was still New Year in Bangkok and most night markets resume on the 5th Jan except for Patpong's!! (Red light district)

They sell lots of fake Nikes and NBs and shades there so yup bargain all the way they charge way extorbitant prices wouldn't buy anything there except for the first shades stall which the guy was soo friendly??? HAHAA must be the northern thai culture ^_^

On the last day we had brunch at Platinum food court which I swear everyone needs to come here to eat. $6/person?!?!?!?! Each couple had 300 baht in the card then we all bought different stuff to share!!! 2 plates of pad thai, oyster omelette, omelette with minced pork, char siew rice, egg noodles, fried rice, tom yum goong, pork khuckles wa the list goes on man. So much more worth if you're saving money to shop more and spend lesser on food. :-)

Last day shopping done before we left to Central World nearby!!!

We ate again at Central World's foodcourt HAHAHA the green curry fried rice and tom yam is goooood as recommended by them :-) then did some grocery / snacks shopping before heading off

But this Made In Candy place caught our attention before we left!!!!! WTF we were damn awestruck hahaha the process was super complicated thumbs up to them man!!

Back to our villa to grab our luggy before heading to Don Mueng!! Note that Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueng's different airports!!! DM's the old one which Airasia and Scoot flies to, whereas Tiger and Jetstar flies to Suvarnahubmi. DM's on the outskirts on Bangkok!

Off to dye my hair with the Liese hairdye which I got in Bangkok at half the price SG is selling muahahaha pray hard I don't destroy my hair!!! Goodnight all :-)

Next gateway in 6 days huehuehue ^_^
